This is the most well known of all the bangs. Noraebang’s can be found on nearly every block in Korea. The awesome thing about karaoke in Korea (and in Asia) is you have your own room, so you can act a fool all you want and be judged only by your friends. The songs are kept up to date, almost weekly at some of the better noraebangs, and tambourines are standard, so that means you’ll be jamming out to the newest Kpop songs with jingles. Even if you’re not a Kpop fan, you can still sing popular songs from decades past (i.e. Beatles, Elvis Presley, etc.). And if you’re a square that still can’t let loose in front of your friends, kick back a few beers. Many noraebangs sell beer… probably to make everyone think they sound better than they actually are
Tip: Maybe you already know about Noraebang, but do you know all the noraebang etiquette?!?
